March 12, 2011 I have been drug free for 30 years. I didn't even think about it!!!!

Yes that is happened to me, no I was not dropped on my head as a baby.

Out of the over 100 people that were in the rehab program I was in, 2 are still drug free. And we are still in touch.

There are folks that don't believe me when I tell them I've never smoked anything.
I've never tasted alcohol of any kind and I've never done drugs.
I've never even tasted tea or coffee.

My mother is unstable, and when she divorced my step dad I was 10. at 12 years old drugs seemed about the only way to check out of life.

As one being formerly married to an addict, it is very hard to stay away from. Unfortunately my ex, while remaining drug free, has now become an alchoholic

I still hear about him as he is my Aunts (by marriage) brother. So sad, he is an etremely talented mechanic....
