I just rented the CUTEST chicken movie!!

I watched the whole thing on youtube a while back and thought it was great.

I agree that there needs to be an intervention between Cotton & his freaky weirdo "soulmate".

Given how old the movie is, I'd guess that Cotton has made way for his successor. Wonder how long the 2-legged soulmate was on Xanax?

my daughter and I watched this today. It was great!

Cotton and his owner, I mean soul mate was cute.
And Ya gotta love the farmer doing the chicken dances and crowing!

I felt sorry for the chickens 6 or 7 to a cage that couldnt flap their wings!

And the LAST story... my daughter and I were practically in tears! it was a very good show. Thanks for the heads up!

OK, I just returned it through Netflix. It was very enjoyable and interested. Especially to compare the different ways the people featured treat their chickens.

I have to say, I thought the woman in Florida was more than a bit overboard. But everyone is different.

.

I finally saw it too. The lady who had the white silkie (Cotton) was just an example what happens when you succumb to the power of the Evil Silkies we've all been repeatedly warned about. She was definitely answering to the Silkie Mothership.

I liked the movie, but I thought the title is completely wrong for what the movie contained. I would have preferred a little of fact and history with the fluff parts.

I agree - The title didn't match the content at all. I was expecting something a bit different, but was still pleasantly surprised.

"Silkie Mothership" LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

im watching it on you tube now, but took a break to check my messages...thanks for the suggestion!! so far so good! i like the silkie rooster, cotton, im up to the diaper lol

Ok, I will have to watch it. The other night, or was it early AM, I watched a program that talked about how chickens comunicate. They recorded a rooster who was clucking out "good food here" and played it back for a hen, she started looking for the good food. They also tested the call that said "something in the sky to worry about" call, and all the hens looked up and took shelter.
