My rooster and his girlfriend were free ranging and she was scratching for bugs with her son, while he was standing back and watching. She kept coming up to him and being aggressive pushing her boyfriend and doing that wing thing that roos do. Why would she be doing this? He wasn't doing anything wrong, he watches guard and he's a nice roo. He does the wing dance with her sometimes, but now that she has a 5 week old that she's taking care of, I really don't see them mating, actually he will also feed the baby.

A dominant hen will sometimes boss a rooster around with the wing dance. But in this case I wonder if she was telling him to get tail feathers off the ground and find some bugs for her. Or maybe telling him to stay away from the chick. He's absolutely gorgeous!
 
You said she has a foster roo. Maybe she's leaving the old guy for the new kid in town. LOL
 
Wow, I didn't know that a roo would tolerate a chick that small (much less another rooster!) I guess he's pretty gentle then? And so pretty!
