Poor little one... Its sad that they dont all make it-- but it really interesting to see the one that dont. I used to open eggs that didnt hatch to try and find out what went wrong. But it got too sad. I do look though when a broody cracks an egg though...Its a bit gruesome- but its just too interesting not to look at. I saw a day 20 duckling once- The cute little webbed feet...it was perfect but just small and not many feathers.
