Congrats!! Is is always nice to bring in a little cash.. now that I have a larger group of steady laying hens.. I have sold 3-5 dozen a week at my school.. that little "nest egg" helps when it comes time to buy feed.

It's an awesome feeling to know that you're contributing to the local economy, but even better when it's YOUR economy that's being contributed to! [IMG]

I am really glad now that I ordered 3 more babies that are coming in February! Hopefully by the time they are laying I can have a nice little waiting list for my eggs! And it is nice to have them begin paying for themselves!

I am sure you will have a waiting list before you know it.
DH had a list when my babies were only about 2 weeks old. [IMG]

I can relate. Since mine started laying I've sold 2 dozen with another dozen due to be sold tomorrow.
With only 4 layers, production is limited but I'm happy to share with friends who appreciate a tasty, natural product.

Nice! Selling eggs helps offset the price of feed. Congrats!
