I Just Started Incubating 6 Eggs How Should I Turn Them?

I just started incubating 6 white silkie eggs this Friday, I've been turning them by hand 3x a day at about 10:00am, 6:00pm and 12:00pm I'm not completely consistent with the times but I always turn 3x a day about 6 to 12 hours apart. is opening the incubator for about 30 to 60 seconds 3x a day to turn them too much? How should I turn them?

Thats how I do mine as long as your temp doesn't drop too much each time you should be fine

That's how I do it too and sometimes I'm not home when they are due for the 4:00 if it's after 6 I wait for 11 if not I go ahead and turn them I've had good hatches doing it that way and once I forgot to turn the incubator back on for 8 hrs and they still hatched on time too.....
