With our foster puppy I've been doing lots of cord splicing lately. I've even got some plugs that I don't know what they came off of. No matter what we do he still manages to get to cords so he's now banished to the kitchen where he can only eat cupboards and attempt to climb into the sink.

It really is easy especially for plugs with no ground prong or shielding. Shielded cable is a pain. Especially wiring shielded cable to not shielded since the shielding can require it's own connection. For a basic cord you just match up the 2 wires with a cord at least as big as the one you cut off and wrap in electrical tape. Best check which colored wire went to each side of the plug if it's polarized. My fan spun in reverse one time I didn't.

It does help my grandpa is an electrician. My husband kept threatening to kill the foster puppy for chewing up things he left out so when he pulled my phone charger back apart after I repaired it once I made him try to fix it. Somehow he failed though. I'm not sure what he did wrong but I had to redo it and it's worked perfectly since so I still get brought every damaged cord to piece back together.

But he also said he doesn't really need to fix it, since my MAMA has already baught me a new bator

About the mouse, I found out where it is nested at and IM GOING TO GET THAT THING! I noticed yellow fuzzes coming out of my portible dish washer. I was wondering where it came from. Well, found out that it's the insulation from the dishwasher. THE LITTLE NASTY HAS NESTED ITSELF INSIDE MY DISHWASHER! No wonder I been having a hard time getting the dishes CLEANED! Been running it 2x in order for them to get cleaned up right.

That NASTY little BUGGER better

Uh, careful about that mouse. We had one that was in and around our built-in dishwasher and it not only pulled out the insulation to make a nest, but chewed through the plastic casing on the pump. So we ended up with water leaking into our subfloor.

I throw mice to the dogs or chickens. Some might call it cruel... The last one ate part of my several $1000 foam bed. It went "peck, squeak, struggle, squeak, crunch".

I live in a house that cannot have a dishwasher without remodeling the kitchen.
