I just want to say THANK YOU!

I thought something may have still been in the leg because there is still heat in it, and I hadn't messed with it since the initial plug removal a few days ago. I don't want to go poking around in there unless I absolutely have to. I'm just concerned I didn't get all of it out the first time around.

Try a potato bandage - that may draw something out, or make a beeswax and olive oil salve, and add some epsom salts to that and wrap that against the swelling for a day with vet wrap.

I'll definitely try the potato bandage route. Do you happen to know what kind of potato it needs to be? I have a sweet potato on hand, but I think we're fresh out of the standard type lol.

I'm glad you mentioned Ichthammol, because I just so happened to have some on hand from an injury awhile back. I cleaned it real well, slathered it in Ichthammol covered by a cotton ball, then a thin gauze pad and the water resistant, self-clinging sports wrap. Even though the swelling hasn't gone away completely, Little Ducky is looking better on his feet. He's actually coming to a point that he'll stand (instead of immediately plopping down where ever) but usually it's only on his good leg.

Fingers crossed with the Ichthammol (and I'll pick up some more potatoes today as well!)

Thanks for the advice guys, it is highly appreciated!

And sorry for the late reply as well...the neighbors thought it would be a good idea to party until like 2am...
