My EE recently laid a giant egg. I would estimate about 50% larger than her regular eggs. We cracked it open and found out it was so big because it had two yolks! She went back to laying regular size eggs after this one.

I only have one of those chicken shaped egg scales, only goes up to 2 1/2 ounces, I don't have a digital scale.

I thought I would go to Wal Mart and get her a medical donut.
