Aww those are some beauties! I have 8 nesting boxes and they fight over 2. I’ve seen them literally standing in line.
That little white one on the end definitely looks cozy! What breed are the black and little white one? And now I’m sad I don’t have any yellow hens!!! Are they buff Orpingtons?

I just wanted hens with beards, it totally doesn’t matter to me. I don’t do the SOP thing. I’m just trying to keep mine alive lol. But it’s nice to know what “breed” I have or don’t have..ok so what’s an Easter egger? Just a mixed breed?

Easter Egger = any feather color, any egg color. Hopefully have blue eggshell gene.

Ameraucana used to be common in producing easter eggers, so that's why eggers so often had beard and muffs.
But now, so many blue-eggshell breeds have been developed from Araucana and Ameraucana, that a lot of things can be used.

And it just gets confusing

Here’s my EE, foreground on the right:

No beard, no muff, no crest, no leg fluffs. A kind poster told me on another thread that her color pattern is silver duckwing.

Pea comb, willow green legs (originally blue), lean-bodied, hawk beak.

One pale blue-green egg every single morning.

I go to Hawaii for a month at time. One year my animal sitter didn't count my hens

That . . . is not a sitter I'd be hiring again. Yikes!
