I know it’s a rooster but what breed please

I haven’t got him yet... but he’s at my local animal shelter... for those of you who know my situation I’ve decided to screw the council and get a no crow collar and have a rooster... other people in my town have them so why can’t I? Lol... but I need to know his breed so I can get the collar before the rooster...

I’m in love with his colours and that tail...
Do not put one of those stupid things on a gamecock. Seriously let someone that can truly keep a rooster and let him crow take him. Gamecocks crow ALOT!!!

That’s a fighting gamecock. He’s been dubbed (comb and wattles removed). He’s beautiful and will probably get himself in trouble. I’d order straight run Australorp and keep one of the boys, instead.

What do you mean fighting. Just because he’s been dubbed doesn’t mean anything. He’s a gamecock plain and simple. No need to throw in *fighting*

Agreed- I think that games are possibly the worst roosters to put a crow collar on.

What makes him a fighting gamecock instead of just a gamecock? (still trying to expand my meager knowlage of breeds lol)
