They can certainly be bird-brains at times, but still not as bad as turkeys.
I know they're not stupid, but they sure act like it...

roy thanks for the heads up now i know ill never get turkeys
the 2 i had weren't to bad. They thought that they were chickens from being raised with the layers. A guy at work gets 25. he lets them out on the way to work. they show up after dinner and get put in the coop. until he gets a call at work from the wife saying the county called and asked him to retrieve his birds so the neighbor could sleep after working nights. It took the county awhile to figure out where the birds came from as it was a mile down the road from his place.
