Ny DH found an old bookshelf that was deep. He put a back on it and a small lip on the front, too keep eggs/chicks from falling out. It is sitting on the floor of the coop. It has six nest and all the hens will use one nest for about a week or two then they all switch. It is monkey-see-monkey-do around here. There are only four hens laying eggs at this time. I have sixteen pullets that are half grown so this should be interesting?!
