I know this is back yard chickens, but I hope a turkey ? is ok.

It is HOT here. I don't even open a window in the room that I keep my poults until they are 4 weeks old. They can't take the drafts. Better safe than sorry. I also like to wait until they have a immune system at 12 weeks.

We're in Sacramento California. We start getting warm right about now, and by june july, will be beastly hot at around 110 an average day.. Everything alive, except maybe the most heat lovingest critters will be begging to cool off lol.

If it makes any difference they peep shrilly and ear split tingly in the house too.

keep them warm and the room quite and tehy will settle down and be okay. If it bothers you terribly move them to the laundry room.

The laundry room is next to our bedroom lol.
