I don't know where its at in your area. Im in Pa so Im across the US from you. Your mom will know where a Dollar General or a Walmart is. Walmart even carries the stryofoam coolers so you can get all you need at Walmart. Ask your mom to take you.

Not sure about broody hens. Mine never went broody when they laid eggs. Some like the one you have don't go broody to often. I had the same chicken as you for a couple yrs and she never went broody. Some breeds of chicken go broody more often than others. Maybe you could try setting some golf balls in the nesting box and see if she wants to always sit on them? I have heard of people doing this, but never tried it myself. It may work?

nope i always try putting her in a shoe box with fake easter

grass and put an egg in thir put she gets out fast
