I know what my blood type is

I'm not so certain about AB being universal recipients.

O- is the universal donor.

United Blood Services also love O+ (I'm O+) They call me constantly and I can no longer donate.

My Father was A+, my Mother was O+. (Mom's Dad was O- and her Mom was O+)
Out of 7 children I am the only one with O+ blood. My other siblings are A+, A+, A-, A+, A- and A-.

My wife is A+. All of my children but one is A+... the one with my name as his middle name is O+ like me. At least one family member can give me blood. (Mom is too old to give now)

Yep cookies and apple juice here! I don't donate anymore since my weight dropped but it wasn't painful to me just boring. Cookies and juice made up for it!

I'm a weirdo on here and in much of the US. I'm B+ and so is my mom. Don't know what my dad is. Been trying to get my man to donate blood so he would know what he is.

Red blood cell compatibility table
Recipient[1] Donor[1]
O− O+ A− A+ B− B+ AB− AB+
O− Y
O+ Y Y
A− Y Y
A+ Y Y Y Y
B− Y Y
B+ Y Y Y Y
AB− Y Y Y Y
AB+ Y Y Y Y Y Y Y Y

Table note
1. Assumes absence of atypical antibodies that would cause an incompatibility between donor and recipient blood, as is usual for blood selected by cross matching.
