As a disclaimer: guys(men), there is a little "women talk" in here!
I need some quick "doctor" advice before I go running to the dr's office, and they make me look like an idiot again (trust me, I went through 6 months of visits, drawing blood - which I HATE, them going between telling me I have fibromyalgia, thyroid problems, telling me it's in my head ect -when actually I had lyme. Then when I sprained my ankle, they basically laughed at me because I went in when it wasn't actually broken...On my behalf, I was worried about a small bone being broken, not something big, seeing how I roll it more than normal and it hurts like heck to put weight on it, thank you!) Anyway....
My pony and I took a fall last Tuesday (he's only 13.2hh, but that is still a good fall!) - he slipped on a pole with his front feet and went down. He landed on my lower leg, and I landed flat on my shoulder/hip. On Wednesday (when the adrenalin wore off, and the pain set in), besides my lower back/shoulders/necks hurting, I also got a cramp like feeling in my lower left abdomen - about even with my hip bone. For all you women out there who get bad menstrual cramps, you know exactly what I am talking about...That is EXACTLY how it feels (about the same place as well)....Please don't tell me it's menstrual cramps, because it has been almost a week with no "flo" (also not time for that yet)...
It hurts to cough/sneeze, and it is always there. Any kind of "pressure" makes it hurts worse, otherwise, it's more of an annoyance than a stabbing, going to kill me pain. (edited to add - I am a hardy person, so my "annoyance" might be a killing me type pain for someone who isn't good at ignoring pain!)
I HATE (enter hissy fit here) going to the doctors, so I'm avoiding it unless it really is that alarming...
Hopefully someone has some experience with this, or might have some idea why it would be hurting there?
Thanks
