I know you guys aren't doctors, but anyone have an idea?...

I'm going to agree with cyst, but I'm going to disagree with a rupture. I think it may have been present and you aggravated it, possibly a partial rupture.

A rupture feels precisely like labor and you have to breathe through the pain (I have this 1 or 2 times a year...end up in the ER).

You DO need to go to the Dr., and they will do a sono, because you can end up with torsion, which is when the ovary becomes so heavy with fluid/blood it twists on its blood supply and becomes necrotic. It can kill you if undiagnosed. Even though I've been through a dozen cyst ruptures, I still have to go in each time- they had to take my sister's ovary due to torsion.

If that's not it, I'm not sure it's internal vs. structural- but whatever it is, I hope you feel better right away!

Maybe you just pulled a muscle, or maybe your round ligament. I had a constant pain in the exact same place for a while during my pregnancy and it was just the round ligament of the uterus stretching. I realize you're not pregnant (unless I missed something?), but I would think it possible to injure it in a trauma.

hahaha...Umm...Of course I haven't been doing anything strenuous? I'm thinking it is only something torn/pulled or whatnot...Not hurting as much this morning...It is quite possible that I made it worse by chasing the hens out from underneath their coop?

there was a lot of squatting, bending over, kneeling, walking back and forth (they are very dumb hens)..I think I might hold of on going unless it starts hurting again...They get annoyed when you go in and not in pain...Go figure...

Definitely not pregnant.

But definitely feeling quite a bit better this morning...I'll keep you guys updated! Thanks

I would go in even if it stays the same as it is. It's just impossible to tell what it is, and it could be things that absolutely cannot be let go.

When there is an injury, it is reasonable to have it evaluated. Pain is not necessarily a reliable indicator of damage. Sometimes pain can be excrutiating when there is not serious damage, or mild even though damage is serious. That said, pain that is getting worse indicates that something is going on that needs attention, and different care than you have been giving yourself.

From the described accident, you should have gone to the ER or Urgent Care right after the fall. The advantage of either of these over the regular doctor is that they can do xrays and labwork inhouse; most doctor's offices do not have these available inhouse.

It sounds to me as though you tore your obliques. Soft tissue damage is the pits. Doesn't show up on an x-ray, more of a "rule out everything else".
If so, it takes a while to heal as well as some physical therapy. Feel better soon!
