Yes bacon and eggs. But I have a gripe with bacon. Most packages aren't a full pound anymore. Many companies have gone to a 12 oz package and charge the same. Who do they think they are fooling. I need the whole stinking pound and I'll pay the extra 50 cents to a buck for it because I like bacon.... and eggs.

On a side note. The other night our two teens went over a friends house to eat. For us bacon was on the menu. So hubby and I and our 10 year old polished off a full pound between us. It was bacon heaven. Hubby had told our son he'd save him a couple of pieces. When he informed me I laughed.

I go to the meat market instead of store.

For a lb of bacon, its $1.99 at Pete's Market.

At the store, for one package of OM bacon, its $4.68. not sure of lb or they go by oz.
