I like Black Boys... and Girls.

I'm just totally into Black chickens now. Does anybody else share my love for a nice, glossy black boy, or girl?

Oh those are beautiful! I actually prefer any color except white! I don't know why, but I don't like white poultry.

Now, when we finally do meat ducks, I'll get white ones, because I don't like them, so I won't be killing any "pretty ones". Weird, I know.

yes I really love the black, its so not black at all but green and purple. I have a few black Araucanas and they are stunning

I have one black one and she is so pretty but I'm favorable to my white one. She is so sweet and I think she is going to make a wonderful mommy.

I don't have any chickens right now, but yes I love the look of glossy black chickens. Just curious, have you ever heard of the Java? I've heard the black one has a green sheen not seen in any other chicken breed (others have a green sheen, but it's different I hear).
