..... my daughter decided to pick up the half brick that props open the door to the run and threw it onto my ankle!
She is sweet and did apologise, but I could have killed her, hahah

Yep sounds like a 3 year old.
With mine I would of just been thankful it wasn't a head shot.
He's beyond a great kid but sometimes he comes up with such off the wall dangerous ideas.
I like my chickens but love my kids so no comparison.

But they do entertain you! Nothing like sitting back after the end of a day having a laugh and thinking “why would they even think that was okay? Are they really my kid?!?!”

Oh yes!!!! We are currently experiencing the attachment issues and tantrums of a 2 year old. She was sleeping through the night and now I’m lucky to sleep till 4am!

___my chickens don't ask if they can spend the night with their buddies to play video games (and let's be honest, drink) all weekend.___

__my chickens give me food, rather than eating all my food and then not telling me when they empty something.___

(Yes, my kids are THAT age... and have been for at least 50 years, it seems, LOL!)
