OMG poor duckling!! Ants are really bad this year here in NM. I wonder if it has anything to do with all of the rain that we've gotten recently? Flies are bad too.

Have you tried sevin yet? You'd have to reapply at least once a week or more. I wonder if the state has any advice?

I had another baby bitten yesterday but I didn't want to say anything yet because I was hoping to save it and I did. This time I used tweezers and got the ant off all the way, covered the leg in liquid benadryl and then mixed a little whipped cream tub full of water and the benadryl and put him in it. It was touch and go all night but he's up and doing fine now and I've been treating ant holes again. I poison them, they disappear, it rains and they are right back. It's so frustrating!!!! It has been horrible here in NM Lucky, I saw a bunch up your way last week too.

Darn! where are they coming from when it rains! Someone said to use those Terro ant baits and they really work...i dont know though. Its war! Boiling water maybe? Thumb screws...The Rack!, Chinese water torture maybe?
