I lost a chicken today.

    One of my Australorps is missing. There are no feathers around anywhere. If mammal predators would have taken her, wouldn't there be a bunch of feathers around the spot where she was taken? What about raptors? The same thing?

    Maybe she's going broody & laying some eggs in the woods. I hope!!

    i hope she's gone broody too but a fox could've gotten her they usually dont leave a trace.
