I lost a pullet today

I have three laying chickens, four 9 week old pullets, and three 5 week old pullets... or did have until today. One of my 5 week BO pullets came up missing. No feathers, no blood, no white chalk outline, nothing! The other BO pullet and the Americauna of the same age are OK. The Americauna was hiding behind the bale of straw and quite scared. I've never had predators around. (I live in a small town, surrounded by neighbors.) I hung my plastic owl in the run to ward off any hawks or such. I suppose she's done for but I don't want to lose any more.

Sorry to hear that. Be positive - maybe the "lost" hen is hiding somewhere maybe? The trauma of an attack can take them a few days to get over, so don't be surprised if the rest of the flock is acting a bit weird.
