I lost my first chick 6.5 weeks old

I'm so sorry. What a cutie too. Is there never an age when you can figure they're all safe from mysteriously up and dying?!

So sorry for your loss.

It's never easy. We bond with them so quickly. I lost one unexpectedly about a month ago. She was 8 months old. I went out and gave the birds some treats and they were all fine. About an hour later I went out again and one was dead next to the fence. Probably a heart attack.

So sorry.. that's very sad.. mine are the same age too. I would be crushed if something happened to one of mine. But sometimes you just don't know.. could be hereditary.. could be something they ate. You did your best... and that's all that matters. Don't be hard on yourself.
