I Lost My Snake!!

I love my sons corn snake. I hold him and help him with feeding. But I would really not like it if he got out. I was putting clothes away for him one morning and looked over and there was a long orange thing hanging from the tank. It was the snake. It pushed the lid up just a bit and was slithing out. Good thing I was there to see or we would be in the same boat as you. Good luck finding you pet.

My cousin lost her snake, she found it curled up with an extension cord. I bet it felt like a hug!

I was home visiting and had my 2 rainbow boas get out. Did the dominis around the wall and only had 2 days to catch them. On the last night one domino got knocked over and I found them.

The funniest time was once when I was feeding the my 6 ft red tail got out of her fed tub. I looked all over. I couldn't believe I lost a 6 ft snake. Found her. Curled around the heat lamp of a cage on the bathroom counter.

If you use sticky tape pour oil over her to remove it. Otherwise you might hurt her.

I'd be sooooooooooo dead! I've got 7 snakes, plus 20 corn snake eggs incubating, and I'd be SO dead if they got out. My parents allow them, but if that happened oh man. I dont even want to think about it!

thanks for the support. i went to goodwill to get a cheap little electric blanket yesterday. i was hoping if i left it on she might snuggle up to it. and somehow i ended up spending $60 and never got an electric blanket!!

but i was kind of thinking that since the attic is so dang hot, if shes up there she may never leave for anything. i did check all extention cords and even a magazine rack. i put to things of sticky tape in the attic in the shap of a "V" and put a mouse right at the base of it, so well see what happens....im not very optomistic though, but will keep you posted

Oh my......that is one of my biggest fears. I have 3 and I am just terrified one will get out. I hope you find your little one soon.

Not that I have ever owned a snake or had a pet snake but I enjoy reading and learning about snakes...any critter.....
I just wanted to ask how the domino's lined up works?
Say if your snake got out would you line them up along a wall so if the snake rubs up against it they would fall down .SO you would hear it?....I'm baffled...help me here.......Need to know ...just in case....
