I love my chickens! Is this Morbid?

When Monster died this morning I was devastated.... still am really sad!!! Then I thought I would cut a few feathers to remember her by. As I was cutting I thought about the little masks I bought years ago, cause I LOVE masks and thought I could make my own, but never had the time nor drive to do so. So I dug them out and created this:

It has her name, her date of passing and her feathers. I didn't know her Birth date, so couldn't include that. Since I couldn't just keep holding her, this makes me a little less sad.. I DO have something to hold on to and touch and it IS a little piece of her. :-(

People hold on to horse hair after they pass, this is no different.

Thank you for your encouragement. I was worried that people would think I'm morbid if I display it. Glad that it seems to be ok with most (my facebook friends too).
