i love my chickens and i am making little money i was just woundering if there is a way to make a living of of raising chickens and selling their eggs. and how many hens i would need

I sell eggs to friends and neighbours....I do not charge much money,certainly not enough to buy their feed....but it does help towards their costs.

I have over forty chickens here...my reward is for the love of my flock...they are amusing and give me so much pleasure ...money cannot buy what I have in my heart for my love of each and every one of them....

Get yourself some Silkie's...they will hatch duck and chicken eggs....go on ...spoil yourself!!!! They are worth more than their weight in gold...!
