Hi, I'm new to the whole raising chickens thing, and one of my hens has been incubating 8 or 9 eggs for maybe 2 weeks now, but yesterday i found that the little critters that since 4 or 5 days ago have started to appear in her feathers, the eggs and my hands when i check that there are no broken eggs have exploded in numbers, like if i put my hand in her it gets fully covered in hundreds of miniature crawlers moving in every posible way, and the hen has a LOT of them in the feathers now. I'm a little, or maybe a lot, concerned because it looks like she no longer wants to incubate them, maybe its too unbearding? What can i do? I've been recommended an insecticide that has Cypermethrin, spraying her and the coop with it, without spraying the eggs directly, but it does not seem to work.... any recommendations? I kind of lost hope in this batch of eggs, but i definitely want my chickens too breed, my 2-year-old loves to watch them, and I'm not going to lie, it's an infant dream of mine. Oh, i'm located in Colombia, so full tropical climate, and the coop is pretty rustic, but i try to clean it regularly, not as much as i know i must to be honest tho.

I’m not sure, but those are probably mites. I don’t know if you can buy it in Colombia, but permethrin is a parasite killer. I have an article on using it here. Is the hen no longer sitting on the eggs? If she isn’t, they will die.

Edit to add:
The treatment you have may be fine, but you might to clean out all the bedding; parasites could be living in it. After removing the bedding I would then treat all the birds and the coop. And… :welcome
