I love my chickens

I just thought I would say that, since I am new at this and really had no idea I would become so obsessed with them so fast!

I'm just tickled to have something that feeds me back. 6 1/2 cats (All strays that just showed up) 2 dogs.
DW has always been against having chickens (bad experience at a commercial poultry farm)
now she is out collecting japanese beetles for her girls LOL

I sm not only tickled to have them feed me back, but tickled to watch their interaction, their behavior. Funny! I bought six 1-week old chick today. i am obsessed and it is so fun!

We ate our first eggs this morning. Waited for four so we ould have them together. Really firm yolks, excellent flavor. We are very happy to have a new hobby!
