Kitty aids? was it aquired the same way as human aids?

It is transferred via saliva or blood, but is not transmissible between cats and humans.

If memory serves, it is passed through fighting. There is treatment, but the trouble with ferals is that they are so difficult to handle. Vets I have talked to about it want the cats to become calm indoor cats, so it is not continuing to get passed on. That's tough with ferals.

Feline Leukemia is almost always lethal unless the immune system beats it. My vet said that if you have a cat outdoors who is not spayed/neutured it WILL eventually get FeLV. Especially males who tend to dispute territory more.

Another reason to vaccinate for the important things. I do believe some pet vaccines are
