My husband swears that once the run is done, he's done! He says he'll have nothing to do with the chickens, and that they're my problem. Hmmmm .... I'm thinking that may change once the ladies arrive. Of course, he won't have anything to do with the cleaning, etc. But, I think he'll enjoy treating and watching them.

my boyfriend lets me do all the work...
i guess it's a good thing though, i'm sure if he did it the coop would fall over when you shut the door

Thanks! It's picket in the front and welded wire in the back. We still have to line the interior with chicken wire and do all the shed/coop work, but it won't take too much longer. I'm excited (can you tell?)

I think my husband is greatful as well that all I want are chickens. Our banana republic bill has gone down significantly since we have gotten them!

My Husband didnt want Chickens but now he calls them his girls...He built me a 5 foot by 3 foot temporary holding pen to get them out of their brooder in our living room!! And has now built a coop 5 foot by 4 foot with the outside run area 10 foot by 5 foot and its all six foot tall...went way above my expectations!! I love it!! We have to finish some things on it but The Girls like it and Iwill get pics up as soon as possible!!
