I cannot believe how many of you have said that you've had Bomb Threats at your schools!

Never has that happened in any school I attended or friends kids have attended, etc. I am just in SHOCK. Things like that are really serious...

My son's middle school evacuated when there was a bomb threat. And there WAS a pipe bomb under a vehicle in the parking lot. And that happened on 9/11/01 at 8:55 am.

There was a little somthing going on in New York that morning that pretty much buried everything else. I was scared poopless at that point, with the news being rather new still. I stayed home with him for four straight days after that.

I was a long term sub at OHHS when they had all those threats during the 07-08 school year. NOT fun, being in constant lockdown, students making threats just because they enjoyed disrupting things, other students getting suspended over stupid things, I could go on and on.

The following year, when I taught at Tecumseh, there was a bomb threat, Principal and VP caught the student quickly, punished him and we got an email about it once it was all over.
