Hey ya'll. I have kept chickens off and on my whole life. (I'm 65) I'm retired and now have the time to fool with a few. I'm mainly interested in keeping a few hens for the eggs. I have obtained 15 chicks that are 6 weeks old and as soon as I can sex them I'll cull down to 5 or 6 hens and maybe a rooster. I'm primarily interested in Lavender Cuckoo Orpingtons.
