Amen to that Kid!!! It is cold and sunny here today, but boy was that rainstorm welcome last night. Because of finances we haven't watered in a few weeks, and I am hoping that rainfall helps!

I'm with debiraymond on the silence part. I love when family visits, but it is so nice when they go back home (AND YES, I LOVE THEM VERY MUCH!!) and the it goes back to being me, my husband, our 8 cats, and our 37 inside birds. Ah, peace! *noting that "peace and quiet" is a relative term...

love when I gt home and the rain is falling and I turn the engine off and the wipers and the radio turn off and there is a usdden silence and a pounding of rain. Great to just sit there for a few minutes and listen to rain on the car roof.

DBF so often has the radio or TV on that when he's gone I turn it all off and just enjoy the quiet.
