I made a coop 5x6 and framed it out in PVC and covered it with wood and vinyl after covering the whole thing with hardware cloth.

I'm very new but did make my little coop and wanted to enter the contest. I clicked on a green...start here...and filled out credit card info no knowing if that was the correct thing to do....it sent me to a site for member's subscription you could cancel....it was difficult for me to find the place to cancel but I hope I was able to do it....

Just be ever so careful when filling out any personal information. I just hope this won't come to haunt me later.....I just wanted to enter the coop design contest for fun and show off what I made and how I keep my chickens.

Um....you did something wrong. You are supposed to write an article about your coop I believe.

Byc does not require you to pay for a membership. There is a premium membership but it is not required in order to join BYC or to enter contests.
I would encourage you to contact your credit card company. I believe it's possible that you gave your info to a scammer.

Yeah, we don't require any credit card payment for being a regular member. If you were paying for a membership upgrade to PFM or similar, that would be different.

So it might be good for you to contact [email protected] with as much detail as possible about what / where you paid so we can help figure out if it was within our system, or perhaps something else.
