I made a mistake !!!

When your talking about apple cider vinegar corroding metal bowls we're talking straight vinegar for salad dressings and marinades not 2% in water. The pH of vinegar is not low enough to cause immediate reactions and then it takes a very high concentration. A table spoon in a gallon of water, the pH is almost neutral.
Never use High concentration of any vinegar because it will cause your chickens to increase their breathing in response to acidosis. A little vinegar in water once a week, no problem. Putting enough vineger to stop algae growth is to much. SAME FOR PICKLE JUICE.

Pickle juice is vinegar, isn't it?

I made a stupid mistake and now think my mistake has negatively affected my flock.
I was told that adding ACV to my chickens water is beneficial to their digestive health. I make my own ACV and so I was excited to add some to their water every day. I didn’t know that you should NOT add ACV to metal waterer. I did this for two day before I learned it was only to be out in plastic waterer. Ugh 😰. Since this mistake, the egg production of my chickens has gone down.
I am so stupid 😥. Is there anything I can do to remedy this issue? Could this mistake have caused permanent damage to my chickens?
I’m so sorry that you are going thru this. And thank you for sharing
