I made a mistake !!!

When your talking about apple cider vinegar corroding metal bowls we're talking straight vinegar for salad dressings and marinades not 2% in water. The pH of vinegar is not low enough to cause immediate reactions and then it takes a very high concentration. A table spoon in a gallon of water, the pH is almost neutral.
Never use High concentration of any vinegar because it will cause your chickens to increase their breathing in response to acidosis. A little vinegar in water once a week, no problem. Putting enough vineger to stop algae growth is to much. SAME FOR PICKLE JUICE.

Pickle juice is vinegar, isn't it?
