I may be strange but I love this part of chicken and turkey soup

Quote:
For me the same as chicken.

Put the turkey or carcus in a crock pot.
cut up an onion or two
simmer on low for 24 hours
pick off all the good meat
throw in celery, carrots, salt & pepper
cook on high for 2 to 3 hours or low for 6 to 8

At this point if you have extra potatoes around or any leafy greens
you throw them in and simmer for a few more hours.

Your done.

You can decrease simmer time by using the high setting.

If you have more than 2 to 3 pounds of bird then you might want
to add more water after you clean the carcuss or pull some out
and freeze as stock.

I owe my soup recipe to Miss Prissy, a few other members here, and
trial and error. I used to just overspice things and boil the chicken.
That was a mistake. Slow cooking brings out an amazing flavor.

You can serve it over regular noodles but I love a good white or
hand made egg noodle. (Grandma would be proud
