I may have an “unexpected”amount of cockerels! What do I do?

Wow I that’s sad. I will definitely put him on a diet, and I stopped picking him up just so he can get in and out of his bin (temporary home) now he starting to fly out and in like all the others(not all can fly yet but most)

Ok so leave the food out for 12 hour Now would you normally leave there food out at all times? I’ve heard different things.to feed them once in the am and again in the evening (which I have been doing for the past week or so while my coup is being built * hopefully done by tomorrow because I have them in two separate bins right now so I let them out of there bins in the morning put there food down with water, some of the smaller younger ones I keep in there bin and put there small food tray in there but they have water at all times . I do give them small portions of food during the day though and treats here and there. But once they go into the coup I will definitely do that 6:45-6:45pm
Yes- I suggest having feed available 6:45 in the morning to 6:45 at night. He will still gain weight, but not as fast!

Good for him to be flying!!!

Thank you so much, I think Jury us doing great. He runs, he flys only a little still but he looks really good I think he’s going to live a happy life, unfortunately I don’t know chickens, I just found out about meat chickens only a few weeks ago! So let me know what you think of him! He’s still very sweet and kind to almost all the others except for when foods involved he will trample anyone down to get to the food first lol luckily I think the others are aware if this
Here he is (a few days before they were moved outside to my makeshift winter home for them; i used the biggest dog cage I think they make indoors & unfortunately had no other choice but use the same cage for the outside House’s “frame”) it’s working out great so far 5 nights now temp in the low 20s u can’t believe how resilient they are??
