i met the neighborhood fox this morning

This is a pic of my fox, been eating here for about 3 years. He/ she has always left the chickens alone, and this morning about 10:30 the dogs were going off and looking down towards the chick pen. The darned fox was about 5' away from it. My coops and chick pens are surrounded by chicken wire, and I don't think the fox will get in, if it does, I hope it's in the winter, the coat is so ugly this time of year and I do want a NICE wall ornament.................

Yeah, if you gotta take it out, you should at least get it when it's in full plumage so it makes a pretty ornament or skinned hide. We used to have a big problem with 'coons. I wanted so badly to make coon skin caps for everyone I knew, but my silly husband couldn't bring himself to do it, so we just trapped them and drove them across the bridge to the other side of the lake. I sure would have liked a coon skin cap....
