I used to own a Mexican red rump tarantula. Tarantulas are way cool and are way better pets than, like, fish IMO.

Yeah they're really cool , you should get one !
You can only have two together for a short time during the breeding season and even then you need to take the male out before she eats him ! Tarantulas are cannibals !
So no .

I put a cricket in today and she lunged at it walked around with the cricket and went in her hide for the first time ever! I'm so happy she's finally roaming the cage a little bit !
