I might have bursitis of the hip....

The doctor staff , did all my paper work for the SS.......know my case was different, plus I didn't have long to get mine.

You may save you some money, if you get help from your doctors...........like you said most time you will get turn down the first time.

My doc isn't involved enough to help me out much but I will be getting a lawyer this time around.

Update: I have an appointment with a specialist (rheumatologist) on March 1st and I'm on the cancellation list. Keep fingers crossed that I'll get some straight forward answers and the help I need.

Good luck!

The rheumatologist I finally saw was the one who diagnosed me with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, and finally opened the doors to the answers I wanted for my whole life. It made so many things make more sense. Of course, it's not really treatable, but just knowing makes things nicer. I ended up on a few meds, which helped, but over time I chose to go off them due to side effects, but that time on them helped me get my head back in order, since I wasn't dealing with so much non-stop pain all the time. I no longer go in to him regularly, but it was very helpful for me. I hope you get the same!
