I milked my first cow!!

Neighbors have cows that are having babies. One lost hers to they went out and got her a couple bottle babies to help her out. I had told them I would love to learn to milk. Just to see what it was like and to try the milk.

Well I did it. Didn't get kicked either. What a treat to try something like that.

Took home the milk and let it sit in the frig for the cream to come to the top. My son and I made butter using out milkshake machine. We then tried the milk with out the cream. It was great. I am glad we got to do this and what a treat for my son too.

oh wow that's so neat. my kids would have loved that. apparently milking a goat isn't cool enough, they want to milk a cow too!

Lucky you to have access to raw milk! I wish I did. Raw milk is much easier to digest than pasteurized milk because its enzymes have not been denatured during the processing.

Maybe more people will join in the fight for our right to buy it.
