I really missed BYC, I had only been able to get on to check messages for a few minutes in the last week or so.

For those of you who did not know,
I left to go see my Son/Baby of to Afganistan :-(
THANK YOU to those of you that sent emails it was
very thoughtful of you.

We had a really noce visit and had some fun.
talking/joking and lots of laughing.

I am very proud of the Young Man he has become.
I will worry about him constantly but will try not to let it
affect things here with my girls.

He has orders for 14 months but is hoping it will be droped to 12.

I have a lot of things to do around here to get cought up on things but should be ready to converse with you all on Monday.

What a lucky boy/man to have such a fabulous mom. I remember how much it meant to my nephew when his mom/my sister (also in NY) was one of only a handful of moms who went to visit their children studying in China. That, of course, is nothing in comparison to your son's station, and I can only imagine how much it meant to him that you were there. I remember your post from the day he left & how much my heart went out to you then. Hang in there & be proud of both yourself & of him. You are both so lucky to have each other (and so is the rest of the world).
