I must be a relic. A low level rant.

SC. Why? Need a LVT whose hair is combed, cell phone is off, and is not snacking all day? I even come to work with a headache, chipped paint on a car, and after spending the night at the emergency room!

I'm retired now--thank God---but in my final years of nursing, I would do some PRN shifts at a local nursing home. OMG---unbelievable employees : wearing headsets so they could carry on personal conversations while cleaning a residents' bottom; smacking their chewing gum--though gum was prohibited; inch long fingernails that scratched/cut the residents'skin---also prohibited; calling in at the last minute for no reason at all; closing a residents door so they could sit in there and watch TV... the list goes on and on.
Work ethics??? most of the staff had no idea what the meaning of "ethics" is
Sad part is---management did NOTHING about it

Serious.. But that wasn't meant to be read as a complete sentence.. But I would have had to laugh at him if he did use them all in one sentence..That's just some of the different excuses one of my employees used atleast one day a week.. And atleast one other day of the week, he wouldn't even show up or call at all.. He is no longer employed here..

Oh I meant to shorten it to just "wife is a stripper so we don't get home until late..." LOL.

At first I thought that was YOUR excuse and it was even funnier. Then I read it the way it was supposed to be.

LOL... If it had of been my excuse, I think I would have had some explaining to do to my husband.. Or get him a day pass..

I do the wet hair but my bangs are dry and my hair is tucked behind my ears. We used to have a gal that would take 2 hour lunches and then pass out at her desk. After she was let go, we found margarita salt in her desk

I am so there with you. I can't stand the teeny bopper crap of ignoring you while they are texting or busy getting the latest gossip ("he said, then she said, oh and then he said... blah blah blah!" Some businesses survive by the skin of their teeth I think. They could really be something if they wouldn't put up with immature workers.

I knew someone one time that called in sick to go fishing. He was at the store pumping gas in to his boat an looked over the pump. On the other side of the pump was his boss pumping gas in to his boat an looking at him. Carma....
