Congrats !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So glad you have another baby, How many do you have all together ??
Please be VERY careful with putting chicks on news paper it can get very slipery and cause spraled leg !!!! Paper towels, non slip liner, old towels work better for the first few days !!!!

Oh I remember my first hatch which was also a serama and he turned out to be a delightful ball of energy and resides with the BIG girls and he's the boss! they even allow him to mate them now but there is NO contact LOL He just jumps on top of them and tries but can't seem to make it work so he jumps off. Poor little guy LOL Congrats to you! I'm hoping you get more

Well thank you, I'm glad I got another baby too!! Well if you mean total birds we now have 132, 4 of them are ducks. We just actually ordered 50 chicks for Ideal, which will be arriving around the 29th and this is our only chick at the time, but we have more on the way due to hatch the 28th, and a few after that, 42. And I have 2 quail coming. But this was my last Serama in the incubator from Jake......

Well I must say I would rather hatch my own chicks then buy "day old chicks" it's an amazing thing to experience...Our little guy just talks 24/7 hes a fisty little thing thats for sure!

Hello again, so it seems that the chick found his wings??? He is like trying to attack them? We've never raised a chick alone, and in a week he wont be alone we have 90 some on the way, but for now is there anything you can give a chick to entertain them? That's safe???

Any ideas?

We've never had a problem with them being "bored" so I was just wondering if there was anything you could give a chick!!

ha, thanks

Maybe give him a stuffed animale to cuddle with !!!! Hold him alot !!!!! He sounds so cute, do you have any pics ??

Maybe friday, I lost my cameras battery charger...so no batteries first it was the camera and batteries now the charger I give up. You can really do that? give him a stuffed animal? That is soo neat! I will do that we cuddle a lot under the heat lamp!!

Hehe I put i little horsey in there, it was the only one that was light, I didn't want something heavy in there to smosh him!!! He loves it, he is sleeping with his little head on the horses head!! Ah I wish I had batteries from my camera!

Thank you!!
