I NEED 2 B FRIENDS WITH MY ROOSTER!!

I do i do try im not like go make friends with him or anything I usually go out with her and tell her what to do and I have shown her what to do before.
 
Do you help her do the things you've shown her, or do you just stand by and expect her to get it on her own? And when she messes up or something along those lines, do you repeat what you've done to show her again? It is gonna take time, don't lose it. It might seem like nothing is working, but I guarantee, it probably is. Fear is a deep thing - it takes awhile to get over.
 
omg thank you ssoo much you guys.you actually understand where im coming from. i mean, i no toro is frustrated w/ me cuz i cANT GO HOLD A CHICKEN BUT STILL...he's terrifying :O......i have an idea though. im gonna put on a weilding mask that covers my whole face, long sleeve shirt and pant and gloves. then ill go in and hopefully pick him up before i get to scared and run away.
 
HHEEYY GUYS!! GUESS WHAT I JUST DID???!!! i just went out to the run with toro and we were sitting in there with my roo and a few hens and then toro got out to go in the barn and left me there with mater-my roo. well he started walking sideways toward me like he does wen hes about 2 attak and i screamed but then i remembered 2 pick him up and i did!!!! i reached down and was scared of my hand so he was like scooting backwards so i cornered him and i picked him up!!! WOO HOO!!

wow..dude..what is that for?? why is that necessary?? i love my chickens and would never kill them or eat them...never even harm them! thats gross if you think im gonna do that to my rooster.
