I need a crash course in turkey

I found a feed store with 13 week olds

So we would be past the hard baby baby stage and we could intergrate them with the flock in less time than I had expected! Now how do I convince the hubby to shell out the $50 for the 4 that I want...

This morning my daughter comes running into my room and tells me to go with her that there is a peeping tom in her window. I grab a bat and rush to her room and low and behold it is a peeping tom... A tom turkey!

Dang Gabe and his super tall self! I never should have told my daughter that a male turkey is tom because now he is our "peeping tom" I think I'm going to like having him around, even if it is just for laughs
