I need a duckling identification!

Hello all. My neighbor found a baby duckling in the middle of a truck stop today and she picked it up after watching it get almost run over several times. There are no sources of water or uncleared land anywhere near there so we're not sure how it got there. She gave it to me and I have it nice and cozy in a brooder but I am wondering what breed it is? It looks almost like the pics of baby mallards but not quite? I currently have chickens and muscovies. Any ideas?

That's what I was thinking too.
Never seen any type of domestic duckling or domestic cross that looks like that.
